Kickapoo – Joy Juice?
It’s one of those days where I woke up on the wrong side of the bed… Everybody and everything is irritating me… here’s a list of stuff already happened….
1. ordered chicken rice to take away, they put it on a plate
2. ordered curry puff as an extra – they gave me fried chicken instead
3. dropped my phone in the car, couldn’t find it, in the process kept knocking my head, and the bridge of my sunnies somehow got warped
4. people at work asking me DUMB questions
5. wanted to go spa but partner in crime not able to go
So, I bought a can of Kickapoo – Joy Juice in the hope that it would bring me some JOY… well it hasn’t happened yet
We’re in the 4th Quarter!!
Yup 4th Quarter of 2007… where has all the time gone? Well I can tell you that for the last month most of my time has been taken up with Facebook! It’s really addictive. What has made it worse is I’ve found scrabble, tetris and pacman – 3 of my favourite childhood games. The only reason why I am able to update this blog tonite is becoz scrabble is undergoing an upgrade…. which means I am having withdrawal symptoms from playing scrabble. That’s ok… I’ve found noggin… but that u have to play continuously for 3 minutes….
On another exciting note… the birth givers have decided that we’re to spend Christmas in Vietnam. So I’ve been given the task of organising the trip. And I better get started on that soon… before the nagging starts
Mission Accomplished
So I managed to feed the masses at camp – total number being 100 people. People thought I cooked most of the food that went out to feed them…. on the contrary I had actually arrowed people to cook. My job was just organising people to cook and hopefully they had enough and to heat up the food in time for lunch and dinner together with my helpers. I have to admit I got pretty stressed out and became a grumplin…. and also a kitchen mummy…. where people who came into the kitchen asking dumb questions got told to piss off.
All in all, people said I did a pretty good job and that I can do it again next year. My reply… I’ve retired. I mean seriously, I dont think I want to go through a week of sleepless nights again stressing out if there would be enough food!!
